Emily's Chipotle Chili

"The chipotle peppers give this slow cooker chili a subtle, smoky flavor. Add more minced chipotle peppers to taste. Serve with sour cream, sharp Cheddar cheese, and chopped fresh cilantro." Shortbread Cookies

"Use only butter in these for best flavor." Ingredients 2 cups butter, softened  1 cup white sugar  2 teaspoons vanilla extract  4 cups all-purpose flour Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in vanilla; add flour and mix well. Put through cookie press and form cookies onto baking sheets. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

Braided Egg Bread

"This makes a very large and impressive loaf. I have used it for large parties." Ingredients 2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast  1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)  2 cups hot milk  1/2 cup white sugar  1/2 cup butter  2 teaspoons salt  1/2 cup water  5 eggs  11 cups all-purpose flour  1 egg  2 tablespoons sesame seeds Directions Proof yeast and 1/2 cup warm water in a large mixing bowl. Combine hot milk, sugar, butter, salt, and 1/2 cup water in a medium bowl. Cool to 110 degrees. In small bowl, slightly beat 5 eggs, then add to cooled milk mixture. Add milk mixture to yeast mixture. Add 2 cups flour and beat until smooth. Slowly add remaining flour until it forms a stiff dough. Choc-banana toasties

Ingredients 4 slices of raisin bread 2 teaspoons Nutella 1 large banana, sliced Method Step 1 Preheat a jaffle or sandwich maker. Spread one side of 4 slices raisin bread with butter. Spread the other side of each slice with Nutella. Step 2 Place 2 slices of bread, butter-side down, in the jaffle maker. Top with banana. Top with remaining bread, butter-side up. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Set aside for 2 minutes to cool slightly. Cut into quarters to serve.

Sandwitch with eggs

Ingredients:  1 bread  200 g of salami 200 g kachkaval  100 ml mayonnaise  4 dl milk  3 eggs  a little oil  Directions:  Salami and cheese cut into thin slices. Brackish muffins with cheese

Ingredients 2 eggs 250 ml of yoghurt 2 cups (500 ml) cornstarch 120 ml oil 1 sachet of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 350 g feta cheese Eggs, then add the yogurt and oil. Lemongrass-Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients 4 stalks Lemongrass, Ends Trimmed, Stalks Beaten And Roughly Chopped 4 cloves Garlic, Peeled 2 whole Large Shallots, Roughly Chopped 2 whole JalapeƱos, Seeded And Roughly Chopped 2 Tablespoons Packed Brown Sugar ⅓ cups Fresh Lime Juice 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 2 pounds Flank Steak Preparation Combine the lemongrass, garlic, shallots, jalapeƱos, brown sugar, lime juice, and olive oil in the bowl of a food processor and blend until smooth. Place the meat in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over the top, turning evenly to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Place a grill pan over medium-high heat. Lift the meat from the marinade and place on the grill. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until cooked through. Transfer the meat to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steak against the grain and serve.
